Hello everyone!
We had a great week this week. Lots of work, lots of teaching, lots of finding.
Some highlights:
- We got a random phone call on Thursday from a lady named Mathilde. She introduced herself by saying she loves Lindsay Sterling, a famous performer who is a member of the Church, so she wants to find out more about us! Long story short, she came to church and LOVED it. She said she's been looking for God her whole life and hasn't been able to find Him, but now she has. As she was sitting in sacrament meeting, she said that the words being said were echoing through her soul and seemed familiar. She and I are convinced it's because her soul is remembering them from before this life! The Church is TRUE, y'all.
- Yesterday, we taught Raffaella and François, friends of President and Sister Sorensen. We had planned to teach the temple model as a first lesson, but we ended up sitting on a bench in front of the Christus statue for about an hour and a half talking about all types of things: the story of Joseph Smith, who is Jesus Christ, how does God show His love, and more. It was such a powerful lesson, and I really enjoyed teaching with Sister Sorensen.
- We taught the Restoration to Sylvie and she loved it! She cried and was so excited to hear about the Book of Mormon. She already has a testimony of President Nelson being the prophet of God, and she just amazes me every time I see her because of her unshakable faith.
There were so many other wonderful things that happened this week, but I have no time to tell you more. Thanks for all your love!
